MY Essay
What we kids want for school Do you remember when you went to school? Do you remember wanting more things for your school, but your school didn’t have enough money for those things. Well that’s what the kids at my school are thinking like right now. We want more things at our school to improve in education, and help us for our future. In the next few paragraphs I’m going to tell you the things that we want. I’m also going to explain why we need these things.More Electives so the first thing is more electives. Why do we need more electives may you ask. We kids need more time to socialize. I know that’s what lunch is for and break, but we want more time to talk. We also want more electives because we want to explore and try new things. Electives give us more time to talk to teachers and friends. We want more opportunities.More Space The next thing we want is more space. Our school is a charter school and we really don’t have a lot of space because we are a small school, but we do need a lot of space actually. We want grass fields because we play a lot of sports. We play soccer, football, baseball, you name it. We need grass because all we have is cement and it’s really easy to get hurt. Plus we have a school next to us and sometimes we kick the ball over or throw it over. We also have like a swamp next to us and we sometimes kick it over there to. We need a bigger place to eat because we are too close together and we need are space. We also need to move are school because in are classes we are all to close together. We need a place for P.E.After school ActivatesThe final thing that we want is after school activities. This is the most important one. Not all kids can be picked up on time. Some parents have other kids to pick up. Some parents are too busy or don’t have time. In some cases kids don’t want to go home. We want to do some sports after school. We really want after school activities because we see that some kids are over weight now these days.So do you rember now? If not this is what we want. This is what we need. The things we need the most
I am a student at Eagles Peak Charter School us students here want some things we want Breakfast and a bigger library. I have some reasons why we want these things.

Another reason is that we can learn more with better supplies, for example, rulers, paper, pens, pencils, art supplies, ECT. More schools should have fewer students. This is because schools with fewer students are given more learning time with the teacher so that they won’t struggle in school. Another reason is that schools with fewer students are more focused in class because the classes are much smaller. There will be more learning time with the kids. So, smaller schools are better with learning time.

Assemblies can also teach us about the causes that are going around in the world. We should learn more about the presidentianl candidates, the war and how some countries need clean water and/or schools. We should have a police come in and tell us what a disguised drug or pocket knife looks like. The police can also tell us no gangs.

Hi, we are representing Eagles Peak Charter School. We want to make our school funnier and better place to learn. Our first idea is to have snack and water breaks between classes. We would like this because kids need food to keep their energy level. If they keep their energy level they will be able to stay focused and learn more. We also want more sports equipment for our school, so we can get our daily need of exercise. Exercise is very much needed because kids today are not in shape. They are lazy and fat.
We think it’s important to have air conditioning in each room. We would like this because most kids when they are hot and sweaty can’t stay focused on school. They will learn better if we can stay cool and relaxed. Also we would like more class equipment because kids will stay focused when things are more interesting to learn about, plus it will be a more artistic way of learning.

Here is the United States, children are lucky enough to have to have school as part of their regular routine.
Most of the children do not look forward to school. That’s because today’s schools suck.
Huh? They all have the “National Requirements”. Teachers, lunchladys, lunches, principals, nurses, preschools and playgrounds (if there elementary), books, secretary ect…
It gets boring.
Sure, some kids learn that way, but the majority of kids in school don’t. They need schools like Eagles Peak, which are small, close-knit, and are active in the arts. Most of the time, kids learn better with something challenging and fun.
Something needs to be saved. It’s in great danger. You didn’t want to have do it. But if you don’t it will die.
So look in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s not Superman! Or Supergirl! Not Batman or Spiderman!
It’s a group of kids, lead by their fearless teacher, heading out on a fieldtrip to the world one school at a time!
Okay, that would be pretty darn cool, but we don’t live in a comic book. There aren’t any super heroes to save the world and stop global warming right?

We cut down whole rain forests, just to make some old guy with no heart or concise can be rich enough to cut more trees down.
So we should to teach kids how to make small changes for the world. Teach them how even the smallest choice you make will effect everyone and everything around them.
Schools should also be greener. Take small steps, like recycling, or use Florissant lights bulbs, will make a great difference.

Good morning congress
So my school and I would like to request a couple of things to help our education. Our first idea is a lunch program, we all know that you are a very busy person and with out your coffee your half asleep all day, that’s pretty much the same thing with us without our food in the morning.

Here is the Untined States, children are lucky anough to have to have school as part of their regular ruteen.
Most of the children do not look forward to school. That’s because today’s schools suck.

We as students believe that we should have more creative arts classes, more community field trips, and better physical education. We as students believe that we should have more creative arts classes, more community field trips and better physical education. These classes would help expand our learning past what we have been taught for many years.

In order to make this happen we need a comfortable facility to fit the different capabilities of each student in order to create a safe environment. Improving out physical education programs and facilities will result in healthy and ready to learn students.
The perfect example of a ready to learn individual is Leonardo Da Vinci he is the perfect example of how art and drama bring out the strongest intelligences within us. Bringing in more creative arts classes will expand students learning past Basic English and arithmetic. Drama and art classes help to teach most students about geometry, literature, culture and social skills. Studies show that most students learn better when they get to be hands on and physical. So adding more creative arts classes would improve students’ abilities to learn. They also absorb more knowledge working with their peers rather than just their teachers, and while in these arts classes they will be able to experience that. Think of these creative arts classes as the first flower of spring, the symbol of more flowering opportunities ahead.
Please know that as students we will go to great lengths to have these goals met weather that takes fundraisers or any type of event to raise money. Keep in mind we cannot do this on our own. The educational goals and improvements that we have mentioned, such as more community field trips, better physical education and more creative arts classes, will certainly exceed the learning methods that have been used to for such a long period of time. We have learned that there are a variety of different intelligences and we doubt you want to allow yourself to feel like you have been apart of depriving us from finding ours. Imagine what we’d do without education. Physical education is part of our curriculum. We; students; want more P.E. time so we can interact more with each other. School is a valuable important time but we should spend some more of that time in P.E. too. More money on the Physical Education equipment should be added.
First; Student want more time with each other. That’s when team sports come in. They would be forced to work with each other and cooperate. Also interaction would be another thing that students would have to do. It is how some kids learn; to be moving around and this is called being a physical/spatial learner.
Second; of all is that this would help us in the future of our lives. This would prepare us for college when we work with other people and when we play sports. Sports are important to some student’s life. Also academics are important too but P.E. would be to make physical/spatial learners learn.

Students need to be more physically active! When students have oxygen in their brain they learn better. Students also need a taste of what we’ll experience in life, not just college. We need after-school activities. Now I will go into detail. Students that get oxygen in their brain learn better because they can think better. If you don’t have a morning recess and lunch recess the kids are going to be sleepy. Why? Because all the oxygen will be in the toes not the brain so your brain is not active. If kids can learn better the teacher job will be so much easier. Also not a lot of kids will be dozing off in class. So students can succeed in they need to get a taste of life. In other words field trips. To learn about jobs in the real world and go to museums or even theme parks so we can have fun. Also we need more variety of electives for the arts. I mean we need to get all the skills we can get, right ? Art, music, drama, sports; all that stuff is needed in life. So all the kids that have different intelligences can learn. With after-school activities we can learn about the world around us. We also go tan opportunity to do homework with teachers, or friends. After-school activities are also needed so that kids whose parents can’t pick them up have somewhere to go. The school can also make money out of an after-school program. All the money the school makes come back to us. So whoever hears this must remember what students need. Physical activities are needed in our school every day. Students need to be more physically active! When students have oxygen in their brain they learn better. Students also need a taste of what we’ll experience in life, not just college. We need after-school activities. Now I will go into detail. Students that get oxygen in their brain learn better because they can think better. If you don’t have a morning recess and lunch recess the kids are going to be sleepy. Why? Because all the oxygen will be in the toes not the brain so your brain is not active. If kids can learn better the teacher job will be so much easier. Also not a lot of kids will be dozing off in class. So students can succeed in they need to get a taste of life. In other words field trips. To learn about jobs in the real world and go to museums or even theme parks so we can have fun. Also we need more variety of electives for the arts. I mean we need to get all the skills we can get, right ? Art, music, drama, sports, all that stuff is needed in life. So all the kids that have different intelligences can learn. With after-school activities we can learn about the world around us. We also go tan opportunity to do homework with teachers, or friends. After-school activities are also needed so that kids whose parents can’t pick them up have somewhere to go. The school can also make money out of an after-school progam. All the money the school makes come back to us. So whoever hears this must remember what students need. Physical activities are needed in our school every day. Physical education is as part of our curriculum .Physical education is the way some people learn which is called physical/special learners. Students would also learn to interact, cooperate, and work together. This would prepare us for real life, collage when we work with other people and when we play sports; sports are an important part of some student’s life. That’s why we should have more sports, equipment, and sport teams. Physical activity in school helps you being healthy and having sportsmanship.
Obesity is a really big problem in the US. Students are not having the right physical activities. To fight obesity kids need to exercise. They wont exercise at home because their to lazy. Even I use to be pretty obsessed until I saw many kids playing different sports like soccer, gymnastics, kickboxing, football, running, rock climbing, and swimming. But the one sport that interested me the most was running, like in track in field. So I started to get into it and started running miles in the park. The more I ran the faster I got. It was a good feeling when your faster than the people that where faster than you. After that I then run in a mile race in my school. I was so close on getting 3rd place, the other kid one me by one second, but at least I got medal for coming out in 4th place. After that day I trained even more and when I weight my self again I halved lost 20 pounds. What I’m saying is that school sports are a motivation for obsessed kids or regular kids.
With sports in our schools there can be future athletes. But for that we need sport teams. Kids will get better at the sports they love and before you know it they’ll be playing pro. Athletes even started playing at their schools. They now have a successful life by playing sports. We can end up the same way if we have sports to play and prepare us for an active life style.
With the different TV shows coming out in TV, kids don’t do anything active. That is why it is up for the schools to have sports, like in PE because students have to play along. I bet even Arnold Schwarzenegger use to play different kind of sports when he was younger. If they change our schools to have more sports and sport teams we may have a long and healthy life style.

I think we could use a janitor so we can have clean bathrooms and a clean lunch area. We should school supplies provided for us so we don’t have to buy supplies for the whole school.
With this money, we cold have a better, clean school. In my terms, we would have a cooler place to hang out and a good learning environment. What else would be a good learning environment would be a place that’s not so much hidden behind tree.
Maybe, just maybe, we could move to a better place where we loose all of our sports equipment. Somewhere that’s not so hidden.
Last but not least, we could use some sports equipment for us to use. There really isn’t enough for us that wants to play foot ball. But maybe that could change . . . please? We could use about two or three more, right? Thank you very much for your time.

Students, unfortunately, are dropping out, now more than ever. With our economy changing, we need students to stay in school, so we can insure they can get a good job, with job opportunities not quite as wide as they used to be. So what can we do to change this, to make students want to stay in school? I stress one solution that has made school enjoyable for me. This is, incorporating the arts, such as, drama and music back into the education process.
Why? You might ask. How is taking reading, math science and history, off the students mind and replacing it with this, going to help? That argument might be true, but wouldn’t that mean that the reading, math, science and history teachers aren’t doing their job? The point is, we’re trying to make students want to go back to school. It’s a proven fact, that after you’ve said something, that we have the capability to remember at least part of it. You could give the students lines to memorize, giving them memorization skills and tricks, which they could use in their traditional classes, for helping them study for tests, or just helping them memorize the stuff you say in class. This most likely will them higher test score, and most definitely raise their confidence.
Now you might say, yes, and that’s all good, but how is taking time away from us trying to tech the students? You are entitle to a certain amount of time with your students, to teach them one subject. If any Governor, try’s to take time out of art program classes so you can teach the same subject over, to bore the students, needs to realize what they would be doing. There is a part of your brain that works creatively, if you were forced you’re entire life to ignore that part of your brain, you can consider yourself brain-dead. Think about it.
Everyone has the same goal in mind, and agree their needs to be a solution. That’s what I’m trying to do. The arts are something that worked for me, when I thought nothing would. I can almost promise you that the art programs along with the same education will work. Be creative!

That argument might be true, but wouldn’t that mean that the reading, math, science and history teachers aren’t doing their job? The point is, we’re trying to make students want to go back to school. It’s a proven fact, that after you’ve said something, that we have the capability to remember at least part of it. You could give the students lines to memorize, giving them memorization skills and tricks, which they could use in their traditional classes, for helping them study for tests, or just helping them memorize the stuff you say in class. This most likely will them higher test score, and most definitely raise their confidence.
Now you might say, yes, and that’s all good, but how is taking time away from us trying to tech the students? You are entitle to a certain amount of time with your students, to teach them one subject. If any Governor, try’s to take time out of art program classes so you can teach the same subject over, to bore the students, needs to realize what they would be doing. There is a part of your brain that works creatively, if you were forced you’re entire life to ignore that part of your brain, you can consider yourself brain-dead. Think about it.
Everyone has the same goal in mind, and agree their needs to be a solution. That’s what I’m trying to do. The arts are something that worked for me, when I thought nothing would. I can almost promise you that the art programs along with the same education will work. Be creative!

What we kids want for school
Do you rember when you went to school? Do you rember wanting more things for your school, but your school didn’t have enough money for those things. Well that’s what the kids at my school are thinking like right now. We want more things at our school to improve in education, and help us for our future. In the next few paragraphs I’m going to tell you the things that we want. I’m also going to explain why we need these things.
More Electives
Ok so the first thing is more electives. Why do we need more electives may you ask. We kids need more time to socialize. I know that’s what lunch is for and break, but we want more time to talk. We also want more electives because we want to explore and try new things. Electives give us more time to talk to teachers and friends. We want more opportunities.
More Space
The next thing we want is more space. Our school is a charter school and we really don’t have a lot of space because we are a small school, but we do need a lot of space actually. We want grass fields because we play a lot of sports. We play soccer, football, baseball, you name it. We need grass because all we have is cement and it’s really easy to get hurt. Plus we have a school next to us and sometimes we kick the ball over or throw it over. We also have like a swamp next to us and we sometimes kick it over there to. We need a bigger place to eat because we are too close together and we need are space. We also need to move are school because in are classes we are all to close together. We need a place for P.E.
After school Activates
The final thing that we want is after school activities. This is the most important one. Not all kids can be picked up on time. Some parents have other kids to pick up. Some parents are too busy or don’t have time. In some cases kids don’t want to go home. We want to do some sports after school. We really want after school activities because we see that some kids are over weight now these days.

“More Electives”
Why we need more electives you may ask? We need more electives, because the school doesn’t give us enough time to socialize with teachers and friends.
In electives we can have certain activities that help us later on in career life. For example, I would like to be a designer, in a designing career you will have to socialize with the top designer to sell your designs. Also in other electives it can help us develop more brain juice, for example computers, they also help for jobs. Computers will help us to do job applications or presentations.

In school, sometimes I feel claustrophobic, because the rooms are super small. We need more space please; all we do during physical education is play in one and only team a simple game. We can’t play a big game. We can’t play a big game like soccer, we only have a small blacktop are for P.E no grass area so we have to play for example dodge ball. Also we need a larger lunch area. Sometimes in lunch, I get my lunch mixed up with my neighbor’s lunch, it’s that bad.
“After School Programs”
You know sometimes my parents can’t pick me up on time for school that is one reason, why we need after school programs. I think it’s cruel when they call the cop’s when parents are maybe caught in traffic or other explainable reasons. Another reason is so we can have extra help in certain subjects we have trouble in. The last reason for after school programs is to have a safe place supervised by adult’s to hang out and active. Kids lately are so over weight, after school programs can help us do activities, to lower risks of over weight kids and obesity.
